Westside Housing Organization is soliciting bids from qualified contractors to perform contract work for commercial and residential housing in the City of Kansas City, Missouri. City-certified MBE, WBE, and Section 3 contractors are encouraged to bid.
MINOR Home Repair

All work must meet or exceed the KCMO Minor Home Repair Standards
Potential contractors must not appear on the Federal Excluded Parties List System. Each contractor submitting a bid for work must submit the following documents to our office.
- Contractor application form
- Insurance ($1,000,000 minimum) with Westside Housing Organization named on the policy as additional insured.
- W-9
- Business license for Kansas City, MO
- Specific contractor’s license, lead certification or abatement license as required by the project
Bid Submission Instructions
It is the responsibility of each contractor to review and adhere to the requirements outlined in the scope of work. Submit the entire bid form with included cover sheet in a sealed envelope prior to bid deadline. Bids must be submitted to the address below in a sealed envelope no later than the specified deadline:

Bid Acceptance
It is the responsibility of Westside Housing Organization to review all bids and determine what bid(s) is/are qualified for each job. Westside Housing Organization reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
Erosion Control Requirements
The contractor will be responsible for providing erosion control measures when required.

Lead-Based Paint
All work on pre-1978 homes shall be done with lead-safe work practices by a certified contractor.
